Another Summer Season is coming to an end

Although the weather at times this Summer could best be described as strange, there are those who are saying this has been one of the best Summers yet. Weekends, for the most part, have been very pleasant and, unlike the rest of the Country, temperatures have generally been cool and comfortable. All sceduled activities have gone off without a hitch. We are now in the process of preparing for another colorful Fall and soon Winter will be upon us once again.  Check out "SKIP'S QUIPS" below for his personal insights and links to what's happening in and around the Stowe area. 

 

Planning a Wedding, Golf Outing or Special Family Reunion This Year !!!

With the romance of a New England Village, The Picturesque white steepled church, magnificent scenery and countless activities, Stowe has often been referred to as 'The Wedding Capital of the East'. In fact, around 500 people each year take their vows in this community.

Our General Operations and Guest Services Manager, Skip O'Neil is an avid skier, golfer and fisherman. He loves to spend most of his free time outdoors. here is his current report.

"Another Summer season is ending. I, for one, could not have been happier this year. Conditions on the golf courses were great and we enjoyed some of the best weather in years for all outdoor activities.    I am also looking forward to the Fall and the turning of the leaves which is always beautiful in the Stowe area . I have also been gathering information on area events and activities scheduled for the rest of this year.
